Stencils... Fett Project... need some help

I was wondering how people make stencils (for airbrushing)... I would like to be able to print them out, and stick them on to my fett armor, so I can airbrush around them, just to get more accurate battle damage.

I've seen some people make ROTJ stencils, but I need ESB ones... so I'll have to make my own before I get my armor. I may be getting a set of V.3 armor from FP, but he's got alot going on right now, and he needs some time off from his work.

I guess what I really need to know is what material I need to use, and were to find it.

has anyone made ESB stencils before?

P.S. if you get a chance, please pray for Chris (FP), and his wife they're going through a pretty tough time.

I always cut some frisket paper to fit my laser printer, and just print my art directly on it and cut the stencil when it comes out.

I've got some stencils as a jpeg file on my computer, I can post it up here if you like, what I did for my helmet (a few threads down I believe) is to copy the stencils on by hand, I must be mad but I just wanted to do it that way, my damage was applied topically as well so the damage went on over the base colours :thumbsup

Just tried uploading it, it wouldnt work, shoot me your email and I'll send it over, its an adobe file (pdf)

Not to derail, but did you go topical because of the expense of layered paint? I am on the fence right now about that.

No I went topical because I did layered on my old helmet and just wasn't happy with the damage, I find with topical you can get more detail into the damage/weathering
