STEEL IRONMAN - heavy update - NEW PHOTOS PAGES 3,4,6

Wow, what an awesome build. I have long thought about having a go, and I think you have inspired me. Luckily for me I own a Metal Fabrication shop :)
To think I was gunna do Stainless steel wolverine claws as a first metal build, they will now be put on the sideline for a later build.

Oh a metal fabrication shop that would be like my Disney Land. If yo plan on trying a steel build a good place to start beside drawing your own patterns from scratch as I wound up doing for the most part. Lol. Anyways as I was saying start with the foam patterns for the most part they translate the best for steel. Good luck. I'd like to see it when you get started and or finished. Please post a link here for everyone when you do. By everyone I also mean myself.

Awesome build! is the weight still over 100 lbs?

Thanks and yes still around the 120 region.

I know this is now an old thread, but did you ever sort out the abs for this? I was thinking since you're doing it in metal you could make overlapping plates, and slot them so they can telescope.

It'd be cool to see a shot of you in the full armor.
