Steampunk Jetpack and goggles

Never done any steampunk stuff before, but my wife and her sister are doing a steampunk inspired shoot this weekend.
I did a silicone mermaid tail for one of their past photoshoots, so I guess they made me their designated prop maker.
They asked me to do a jetpack and goggles for them, so here's the best I could come up with in two days time:

All the parts are made from crap that I had lying around in my garage. I think the only thing I bought were the filigree decorations.
Hope you guys like it and I'll post pics of the actual model wearing it once they are finished with the shoot.

Looking nice, but my main personal gripe regarding the incorporation of gears and cogwheels into steampunk items is that most of the time they are only used as decorative elements without a function. If they are used IMO they should have some kind of "purpose" or at least hint at a function. With the glasses I could see them as adjustment wheels, for example.
