Nearly finished building the wall couldn't wait till the morning just found some burlap too start plastering tomorrow lol.

**** bollocks wank just got up to find my clay wall all on the floor that was a wast of time last night
dam you water based clay. Could of been worse the sculpt could of gone with it.

Ya had me worried there for a second.  I thought you were gonna post something catastrophic.  Very glad the sculpt is fine...I'd be crying for you.  Here's hoping you do a "WIP" thread on how you paint up the silicone, I'm very interested in the process.  I'm sure I'm not alone there.

Just glad it was the wall lol.  Got the first layer of plaster on today will get more done tomorrow now.

Sorry ppl but the front of my mould is fked.  Feel pretty ashamed of my self the back came out great the front isn't so
good every time i try to get the clay out the plaster is coming with it maybe i mixed it up wrong i dont know 
going to take a few weeks off then maybe give it another go but hey im having a few drinks tonight i need it lol.

Aww man! Use hyrocal plaster its very strong and dries fast, its ok , take a break, i know whe you get back to it you ll do it right

Guys i think it was me the plaster is very strong stuff basic alpha plaster is what i uesd its the same stuff i used for my zombie mask
dont matter ppl i will be back.  I will just copy it off this thread again.  Im going to give fiberglass a bash next time for making a mould.

How long did you leave it to dry?

i usually leave Alpha over night and have never had a issue with it, it is harder/stronger plaster than ultracal and  or hydracal,  i used it on my 1st mask , the open mouth p1, and the mould is still going now 6 yrs later.

take a break a deep breath then kick its ass.

I left it over night as i did the front first.  Think i moulded too much of the front cause the head armature was a bitch to
get out thats where things went wrong yeah im taking a little break but this aint going to stop me

Ah man, am sorry to hear that bud. I have had my fair share of problems using the plaster as well. Take a break you deserve it bud the get back on it and wipe the floor with it as Jose said, when you get back, we'll know your get it right.
