Starting A Predator Mask Sculpt

Damn man, this thing keeps getting better and better.  If I had half the sculpting ability you have, Id be happy.  This has turned into one of those must see threads that I check daily for updates.  You continue to blow my mind with the detail here.  Keep it going!!!

The texture is insaneee. How'd you go about the scale texture bits? Im just starting to sling some clay around but i havent gotten texture right yet.

Cheers ppl  I do the scales by rolling balls of clay then press them into place squashing them down then i have a metal tool that
i press in between all the scales after you get a big area down at this stage i get a cocktail stick and dab it all down the little channels hope this helps

 Wonko thats some nice comments im glad your liking the journey.
I have also come to a conclusion that if i use latex for this then its going to be way to small after doing some browsing yesterday
on the site i came across 2 pred masks which 1 is done in silicone and the other out of latex now i always knew that latex shrinks but 
i didnt know it shrank that much.  As i have never worked with latex before.  So this mask im doing is going to be in silicone now.

Yep i plan to do a custom bio as well after the mask and dreads are done.  After looking through your thread on the
terminator bio made007 that thing is just purely badass its a awesome piece.  
Cant wait to get to the bio and Armour painting im going to try something which hasnt been done on the predator
stuff before and i cant share with you guys yet lol.

very, very, very cool!  but one thing did come up in my mind.....wouldn't all those horns get in the way for the bio?  how you plan on attaching?

Ok im saying this is done now well sculpting anyway.  Will make a start on making the mould wall tomorrow.  I like the side view
on this looks pissed and badass lol need to get some burlap for the plastering.
 Anyone know how much plaster you use when making a pred mould. I have half a bag of plaster left and it was a 25kg bag.
I thought i would of had this done days ago but those scales all round the back where a nightmare to do im dreading the torso lol.
Anyway heres the last couple of pics before it goes under plaster.

Im doing it in silicone my plan was latex but it would be way to small didnt know it shrank so much 
hoping this will be a start on a full suit.
