He scares the crap outta me... :lol

( Did I just type this out loud? ) :confused

Fantasmic. Just fantasmic....

I decided to cast a new part, it's the spine going down the secondary hull. I was going to have people scratchbuild that part out of stryrene then glue the rear photon launcher to it since it would be a pain for me to build each one.

This was a difficult one to cast because it was so thin.

The lightings looks really good. I really like how the top and the bottom goes together. If only more GK kits are this sweet.

I have been appointed to write a detailed instruction on building Rel's kit, by myself.

Read carefully before commencing.

1. When parcel arrived. Give that sexy Fedex delivery girl a kiss. You may get a slap but its okay unless you get a sexual harrassment lawsuit.

2. Do not rush to open the parcel. Read this instruction in this forum first.

3. To build the kit, simply shake the box in all directions. Follow arrows on box.

4. Open up the box and the kit is all assembled by itself.

5. Mask whatever and start painting it.

(Wot? Wot ahboot de lighTing?-Reader)

Please don't freaking interrupt me again when I am typing. Where was I? Oh yes...

6. Lightings? Easy. Read instruction no.7

7. Email Rel and order another same kit.

8. This time, install the lightings.

9. Put kit plus installed lightings back to parcel box and shake for self assembly. Follow directions on box.

10. Viola. Another built kit.

11. Mask whatever and start painting.

12. Purposely paint this kit red by accident and email Rel for another same kit.

LOL good one.

Here's the pic's of the resin kit I'm working on as a lower cost alternative to the fiberglass one. Please PM or email if you're interested. It'll be hollow cast resin, and will still include PE and decals.

^ I'll be derned if those castings don't look more like injection molded plastic.

Very nice and clean parts you've got there. Very very nice.

OK, now I get it, (I must be slow) the clear FG allows for easy lighting. Resin casts are for a more static model.

Now I've got to make a hard decision...

Thank you.

Here's a better view of the inside. I poured it with straight angles so it would be stronger and have no sagging issues. It's very strong. Heavier than the fiberglass naturally but still lighter than I thought.

LOL...wow...what a mug shot, eh? Guess I am getting old it seems..lol.

Let me first thank John Eblan for driving an hour to bring Richard's kit for me to view. It was an honor to meet both you and your wonderful family JohnÂ… Thank You. I look forward to enjoying a long and productive working relationship.

Now...as for Richard's kit..... bottom line.... JAW DROPPER.... I knew it would be large, but didn't really get the picture until John placed it in front of me. The detail was amazing......and that was with unsanded primer on it. JohnÂ’s build of this is certain to be fantastic.

The luminescence through the fiberglass is nothing short of perfection for a studio model. You can see in the pics that when I held the nacelle up to the window that the desired clearness has been achieved by Richard in his casts. The windows are precisely placed and very visible for paint removal to get the interior light showing exactly like the studio filming model would have been.

You know,.. I could go on and on with praise about this kit, but do not want to sound like I am pushing it so I will just say thisÂ…. FOR ME IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY...... AND MORE...

I am playing catch up from my absence and will post more later. If anyone wants to ask specific questions of my viewing, I will do my best to answer.

Richard. GREAT WORK.. You are a TRUE MASTER...

Richard, don't forget to wash the drool from Kurt off that ship before painting or else the paint won't adhere. ;)

My salivating continues. LOL
