Starship project

Update. Here's the lastest pics on the new bottom saucer.

It'll be finished this weekend if I have to go without sleep, I'm going drive to Dallas on Monday to pick up the silicone, I'll have it molded Monday night and cast by Wed. For those waiting I'm sorry for the delay but I couldn't release the old one knowing it was innacurate.

Always the professional...GOOD MAN Richard. :D

I can't wait to see John's build-up progress pics. :)

And the yours of mine when you get to it after the major castings are sent. :p Sweeeeeeeeeeet.

I'm nearly finished, I realized I forgot a few things after I primered it. I'll still have it molded by Monday night though.

This is one of the secondary hull fiberglass castings shown with the saucer master.

Wow. Didn't really see the problem with your original peice, but the new one looks fantastic.

It's cool too that I also live in OKC. :cheers

The other one was innacurate in a few spots and the panels were too thick. I tried to remove the parts and save the old one, but once the acrylic bonder sets up it won't break loose, in fact the plexi will break before the join will. So it was easier to just make a new one.

Ok it's finished. I'll peel the window mask's off when the primer has dried thoroughly then mold it.

I can never say enough how pretty your E-E is.

Plus, I am so glad I didn't buy the Erlt.

I really really really like the lighted pics. :thumbsup

Just email me and I'll put you on the list. They'll be ready in about 2 weeks, it's first come first served.

Looks like you have some interesting support structure on the back of that mold - Could we take a look?
