once i finish my Nova ive decided starlord will be next.
i was bouncing between the green ranger, green goblin or Galactus

im currently trying to find the name of the jacket style the rocketeer wears the whole bib button up fronts same style. ill buy pieces if i have to but i prefer to make it since thats 80 percent of the fun. im kinda thinking twill for majority of it since i believe thats what my coveralls are made of and thats the fabric i see it being but any other suggestions are welcomed

How are you planning on doing the mask? I've been checking out all the foam threads all night and man, that is looking like such a good option. I'm probably going to use it for my redesigned bracer. I previously thought the best budget option was that rubbermaid plastic, but I sourced some of those foam mats at home depot tonight and they're super cheap even at retail price as workplace fatigue reduction mats. For a pack of 4 (3'x3') mats about 2 inches thick it was only $17. Since they're so thick I'm planning on using a dremel to carve them and hopefully eliminate the need to make certain large pieces out of separate pieces of foam.

theres a military surplus store not to far from me i was going see what they had and use aluminum flashing. and i was half thinking about just modifying this voice changing darth vader helmet i have

You know actually you could probably use a regular batting helmet and just the duck tail from the Vader helmet. That way you could just grind down the bill rather than trying to add one. Seems like a bill would be a pain to get symmetrical. More sanding vs less sculpting I suppose it would really be more about which kind of work you'd want to do.
