Starkiller / Galen Marek lightsaber - real Graflex parts, titanium....finally done!!!

Re: Starkiller / Galen Marek lightsaber - real Graflex parts, titanium....finally don

Could a 2cell Slave be used for this?

Is that what you mean?

It probably could, but you'd have a gap where there's not supposed to be one. I meant that camera collectors already hate SW fans, so cutting up a Graflex would really kill them. :)

Thanks! :thumbsup The cleanup involved a lot of soaks in solvent, some welding, buffing, and a lot of scotchbrite finishing. :)

Please tell us more.
I've a Graflex waiting for an ESB Luke Hoth and it's beaten up, too.
So maybe you could tell us: How many soaks in what solvents, what did you weld and buff and which scotchbrite did you use?
I'm afraid there is no kneeling and pleading smily available here ;)

Careful! This kinda talk will attract a scolding from Chaim! :D

There is something about a beat up saber though... I look forward to a well used ESB version in my future.

Okay Okay Okay...Peace :lol

I'll let it the way it is as was my first intention. You are right Luke's saber should look beaten up especially in ESB.
Was just the wow-effect what could be achieved with some solvents and scotchbrite.
