Stargate Anubis & Ra

I’ve had Anubis for a while and now it’s time to put some paint on it. Skipped the boring part of sanding and priming.

Started to age the metallics with a light wash of acrylic black thinned down.

Ears glued on and the rest weathered.

Looking good. The originals were painted to look like they had patina on them, so you could do some more washes with green and purple too, to really age it.

No these are not from Chronicles. It’s a 1:1 bust that someone had a small run here at the RPF back in 2011. I believe the cast was from a production piece but I could be wrong.
