I recently was inspired to try to assemble a reasonably accurate full size laser rifle that Caroline Munro carried as Stella Star in the film Starcrash. Why? She was one of the guests at Wonderfest 2011, and I *had* to try!!!
How well did I succeed? When she saw me carrying the rifle over to her table at the show, she called out "That's MY gun!" :love And she posed with the rifle (and I) and enthusiastically went on for several minutes about how for several days of filming in the Italian swamps, it was just her and her trusty rifle... and the film crew, of course. And that most of that footage never made it into the film.
