Here are some renders of th eStar Wars Rebels detonator, I am planing on 3d printing them soon.

sizewise its about 3 inches in diameter

Does it look ok?

Are you planning to do a run? Will there be any electronics involved? Looks great!

I havent given it much though but it will consist in 3 printed pieces and electronics. I want to add lights and sound... I would preffer to share the links and you make your own...

Design is about 80% complete...

here is the design as it stands right now about 95% complete.

Base will be like so, with an area to place a 1 inch speaker.

the bottom side will have feet and it screws to the main body

This is a cross section view of th eassembly.

I think I will have to modify it to make it fit... I've use this board several times its very easy to use and works wonders.

Ok so I uploaded the model to shapeways... anyone here with a printer want to try it out? I am curious to see how it turns out sizewise... anyways i'm still ordering mine.

Hey Miski, I am using Solidworks 2009 along with its rendering engine calles photoworks... it does a prety decent job on rendering materials.. Thanks.
