Star Wars prop gun?

Saw it this gun in another thread but also saw it in a prop book for star wars. does anyone know anything about this pellet gun?

That gun is close to the Jabba the Hutt blaster that Luke tries to shoot Jabba with. The one thing that I know is wrong is the front site is different. The rest of it looks close. It may be a similar model or just differently configured. Hopefully someone who knows it better will chime in.

My friend had one like that back in 1984. It had the correct end on the barrel. The bottom part of the front of the barrel was a lever to pump the gun up to shoot, it was hinged at the base of the barrel.

Not sure of the make or model.

Pretty sure the Umarex Panther is the one they used. This is close, but not exactly the one. Still regretting selling my Panther years ago...

What´s already been said...while close it´s not accurate!

The Jabba "palace guard blaster" was build on a Panther RO-72 pellet gun.
Hit the search button and you´ll find quite a few threads about it with plenty of pics.
