Star Wars Helmet - Leather Cuffs

OK - I know this is not a prop per se... but I didn't know exactly where to put this. If the mods think it should go elsewhere - please move it.

So, I've been doing a little leatherworking lately and I wanted to do something related to the Star Wars Universe. I wanted to do something unique (or at least something I haven't seen before). It had to be a cuff - but of what ???

I decided on Boba Fett, because it would be the quickest thing that I could start working on (meaning the design was pretty short, since their is so much blueprints out there for this costume)... and being a new father, time was of the essence, since I don't have much to dedicate to personal project right now

So, I resized one of WizardOfFlight blueprint, printed and off I went.

I always have trouble remembering to take progress pic - for this one I have a couple and then the glam shots.

What do you guys think ?

I just got into leatherworking this summer, so I know the amount of work you put in to make that. A labour of love, I am guessing.

@Dave Porter: Yes it was labor of love ... As in everything, I've learned that what makes the difference in leathercraft is the time you spent just pushing a bit further that will make your pieces amazing.

I'd have to figure out the pricing tough... given enough people are interested, I could even add a bit more details (the "keyholes" in the back of the helmet for example).

Well... I'm necro-posting in my own thread... but it took me that time to come up with a second "helmet-cuff" as I started to call them.

I've had this one in mind since I did Boba Fett... but I had several problem that I could not figure out at the time.
Boba was a "flat helmet" - the other one isn't... I didn't think it would look that good reproducing it on a flat surface.

Also the color... it's a color that's hardly reproduceable on leather (well vegetable tanned leather using for tooling).
But, that's why I decided the leave the white parts the color of the leather... it's not white, but it looks kinda cool (well I think so)

So... what am I talking about... well... the StormTrooper Cuff !!!
