Last Sunday I had the opportunity to photograph some amazing Star Wars fan made
costumes on the beach in Cape May NJ.
We were going for a moment in time that could have happened with Luke and his
friends Camie, Fixer and Biggs. Marty Miller brought his R2 unit, which converts to R5,
and he also pulls off a great Fixer. Gary Haertter has put amazing work into his Luke costume,
right down to the macros. Our Biggs is Al Sniezvage (kinda looks like Garrick) and Camie
is Monica Tulay, who is one helluva costume builder and really pulled off being Camie.
Droids, Jawas, Sandtroopers, the beach and an old WW2 bunker helped bring these
little known characters to life.
I can't thank the crew enough. One of my favorite shoots to date.
