Not an anime fan in the slightest but THAT is what a Star Wars cartoon should look like!

I want this on TV. I want it now!

Only thing I'm not hot on is the flashes between them with and without helmet. Is than an anime thing? I'd prefer more straight up shots of the pilots.

It's probably to keep up with who is in each suit. And you gotta have the anime hair. Helmets ruin that.

My guess is that the w/o helmet shots would help identify what Imperial characters were piloting what ships. Meaning lets hope there is much more, with an in depth story and character development!

It's probably to keep up with who is in each suit. And you gotta have the anime hair. Helmets ruin that.

They're probably doing the cut away to showing them without helmets because they're meant to be main characters. I would for sure watch this if it was a normal series. It has a nice old school Macross feel to it that so many shows have lost.

Exactly what I thought. The shot where he's turning on the TIE in the launch bay gave me goosebumps. LOVE that cockpit!

Is this fan made or was it a test run to try and get it made? You find some stuff on youtube that's done by studios in Japan apparently just for fun. There's a few Final Fantasy ones that look like it was from a real show.
