Interesting watch. I don’t think they’ve changed Star Trek forever though.
Well, he has an opnion.
He says the short was created "to exploit the nostalgia of fans, who just can't let **** go"
Reading and watching the BTS for this short, I personally feel it was much more than a nostalgia grab. And BTW, there's nothing inherently wrong with a nostalgia grab, as long as it respectfully reflects the orignal material. Something the SW sequel trilogy failed at miserably, but where this ST short succeeds IMO.
