Ive been trying to match the clothes found in the Star Trek The Original Series's, episodes where they either travel thru time or visit a planet like our past history like the episodes, " City On The Edge Of Forever ", " Patterns Of Force ", and " Piece Of The Action"
I am going to list the basics I found so far on each episode
( Solely Based On Kirk )
" Patterns Of Force "
So I am not going to dress up as a Nazi, but In the beginning of the episode Kirk and Spock get dressed in 1940s style attire, Kirk wears the following
Shirt_
" Button Up, Two Pocket Blue Dress Shirt/Flannel ( Ive noticed that in each episode the button up shirts are more thick wooly style than todays modern thin synthetic shirts )
Brand- Unknown Chest showing about 2 buttons down
Undershirt-
None
Jeans-
", Most likely Dickies ( No Levis Patch On Back ), Classic Blue/ Purple color, 2 front and back pockets.
Shoes-
Standard Western Costume Company boots, (Used on nearly every episode when in Star Fleet uniform)
Piece Of The Action
Will look more in detail, Many different forms of attire, Suits, Hats, Ties, Button Up shirts, Ect...
MY FAVORITE
" City On The Edge Of Forever "
So this is the one episode I want to match the clothes exactly ( Besides the tall leather boots )
I want to be able to wear this In public, If not too edgy
So heres what I know

Pants-
So the pants where easy, If you have the eyes you could see the Dickies logo on the grey work pants ( mainly because I already have the same pair ), Ill screenshot and zoom a picture if anyone wants it., Since I have the pair Ill give the full details
They are grey canvasy fabric, with workman's pockets ( Cargo Style ????)
( Side Note, I Googled everywhere and could not find them specifically pictured, but Ill find out soon )
Shirt-
Now heres the real kicker, which I've been looking in every clothing store and online for a year or two, So look at the included pictures. For my undertstanding the style is called " Buffalo Plaid ??) I found them on amazon for a bit ( Normally priced for California ) 35-going up to 80, the one I was going to buy was from Rothco, who makes them in several colors and I think they go from sizes small-4x mens. One of my family members who knows I have been looking for one for a while said they saw Bill Clinton on TV wearing one, Not like the one from ST, She said it looked hideous, that comes from a Southern California person who does note have the same fashion sense as other inner states. I honestly like it, even the Rotcho version that Clinton wore, but the Kirk version looks a heck of a lot better. I like this style mainly because I somewhat have a Kirk look and can pull it off, Blonde, slightly Wider Ect, I am 6'4 though, so that throws it off.
if anyone can lend a hand with this Shirt or any other details I got wrong please let me know, (With any of the episodes listed or that I missed) I would greatly appreciate it ( So would the few, and the proud who are looking for them like me )
LLAP
