Star Trek TOS Medical Kit

It's you.

There's a lot that goes into a Med kit. Scanner, hypo, that other thing, all metal, and a leather pouch.

Easily $500.

Yup. This is very much a higher end piece. I've seen this set go for over 750.00 on eBay.

And after I've pushed my TOS prop urges away you've gone and SUCKED ME BACK IN!

I've been lusting after McCoy's equipment for a while now... mmmm, hypospray...

Actually...do you recall this sweet set that was made by a fellow artisan from here? (I must have built up 10-15 or so of these for him.) They went for around $250.00 or so IIRC.

The thing about the the above set that was different from the HMS/Roddenbery one is the above had an all-machined hypo...including the tip. I recall the HMS/Rodd one was poured pewter...with regard to the tip anyway.

Of course, that was a while back. The HMS/Rodd one may have been re-tooled. I know the "working" sprayhealer is new in the HMS/Rodd kit (and that is sweet piece, BTW).

I suppose if the HMS/Rodd one has been re-tooled with a better quality hypo and with the working spray healer, it is worth more that the prior going rate of $250.00.

But...you should be able to get a hold of the above kit I illustrated for around $300.00 still. (In the secondary market only...no more runs are being done as far as I know)

Hey that looks familiar! ;)

I wish someone would do the tri-fold medical pouch for them. That would be cool!

Is it just me, or is that incredibly over-priced? I really want it, though.

Does anyone have it/pictures of it? Does anyone sell it cheaper?

Thanks! :thumbsup

I've had my eye on this one at Roddenberry.com for a while, but can't let go of the $500. I'm sure it's worth every penny. I guess I'm hoping an RFP'er will offer these like someone did in the past. Would be a nice set to go with DST's TOS medical tricorder.

I'm glad to hear the Roddenberry prop(s) live up to their asking price. I've been on a fence about picking up a med-kit for some time, but based on the comments here it sounds like a quality product.

Any naysayers out there?
