Have anyone found a bookend like the ones used in McCoys bedroom?
Were they made for the show or a found object?

Nice! I've been wanting those for awhile. I was planning on sculpting them up, but couldn't remember which shows they were in. And tho I love original Trek, I haven't had the time to watch whole friggin' seasons at a time to get screen grabs.

I thought I'd seen at least one of those in Spock's and Kirk's quarters, but I'm not sure. Really liking the obscure Trek props lately.

Anyone know which episodes these are in?

Their catalogs are downloadable. So a person could do a bunch of searching. And yes, I am a person.... Probably not gonna happen any time real soon, but...

Now I have spent hours:cry to searching all the catalogs that they have available on their website but got no luck. It could still be on one of them that they are going to add to their webpage or on one of them that you need to buy from them. Crap, im tired now.

I've never seen it that large and clear before. Makes me think it might be an African styled bust. A certain amount of the "personalized" crew decorations were off the shelf stuff. I wonder if they were just something picked up from some interior design store or importer. Seems like a lot of work for set dressing when something from a store would suffice.

Not that I remember.... but I haven't seen them in awhile. And I may not have seen them all. I guess if we can confirm that the fanfilms don't have them.... then the fanfilms are LAME! :lol

I was just looking thru some screen grabs I'd downloaded from Trekcore, and one of the bookends was in Kirk's quarters in The Enemy Within. There are some pics in the HD section of Trekcore. But his quarters are dimly lit and it's not a fabulous shot, but it's there.
