Star trek tos desktop viewer

Hi gang! I just completed a Star Trek Orginal Series desktop viewer. It features a lighted screen which is blank until you turn it on, (2) switches, data cards and slot, a jazzed up little light box below the monitor screen and all the right curves in the right places. Ain't she sexy?

Had a blast making this and will be making some more in the coming weeks. Will place a listing in the Junkyard if anyone's interested in one.

Thanks, Avolow. Yeah, I have tinkered with the idea. Or maybe putting a digital picture frame in there?

Problem is finding just the right sized unit. If it didn't matter what the thing looked like in the end I could probably put anything in there. But my guess is there are too many problematic technical considerations to adapt most things.

I get that this is 8 yrs old, but I was wondering if you remember what you used for the light indicator below the screen, and the dimensions of the triangle base. It looks great!

Well, that would explain why I didn't get an answer from him! Does anyone know the inner dimensions of the screen?
