Star trek tos desktop viewer

Hi gang! I just completed a Star Trek Orginal Series desktop viewer. It features a lighted screen which is blank until you turn it on, (2) switches, data cards and slot, a jazzed up little light box below the monitor screen and all the right curves in the right places. Ain't she sexy? ;)

Had a blast making this and will be making some more in the coming weeks. Will place a listing in the Junkyard if anyone's interested in one.

Enjoy!

Jon

Thanks, Avolow. Yeah, I have tinkered with the idea. Or maybe putting a digital picture frame in there?

Problem is finding just the right sized unit. If it didn't matter what the thing looked like in the end I could probably put anything in there. But my guess is there are too many problematic technical considerations to adapt most things.

I get that this is 8 yrs old, but I was wondering if you remember what you used for the light indicator below the screen, and the dimensions of the triangle base. It looks great!

Jsimon999. This is my first post to this group since I just registered about 20 minutes ago. I'm curious as to the inner dimensions of the screen. Is it less than one foot in width?
