How did I miss this thread??? I've been thinking about installing bluetooth into one of my DST Comms, but I had no idea how hard it would end up being (as evidenced by all the work you did) and I really don't think I'd be able to top what you've done.

It's functional, loud, and gorgeous. You should be very proud!

Hey! Thanks for the kind words. They do require a lot of work, but I have it down to right around 6 hours to complete one. Sold about 16 or so on eBay & Youtube over the last few months and all the guys, and one girl, really liked em and left the nicest feedbacks.
Now, I just have to fix that crappy sounding STTE Chirp!

Well, with the DST version coming out, maybe you wont have to modify the sound on the STTE one (unless you got a bunch to use up)

Also, would there be any chance of maybe a tutorial or anything?
