Star Trek (TOS) 50th Franklin Mint tri-demensional chess set

It looks like an exact re-release of the one I bought 20 years ago. I still have it. Love it. My daughter and I used to play it. It's still in pristine condition.

Cool !, hoping to get my first when it comes out ( it says it comes out when ST Beyond hits the theaters ), Do you mind me asking how much you paid for it 20 years ago ???

Thanks

Cole

I seem to remember it being in the $200.00 to $250.00 range with tax and shipping.

It's a novelty, to be sure. But as far as a prop goes, in addition to it being WAY undersized it is grossly inaccurate.

True but it is still fun. With the gold and silver plated pieces and the fact it was the first one I could get my hands on it was cool. Sadly, when Star Trek the experience opened in Vegas. They bought the remaining stock from Franklin Mint and sold them for $750.00 each.
