Update on my desktop intercom (in reality an Alexa Dot 2 in disguise!). Looking good, though I chipped paint with my jigsaw, so got a bit of repainting to do! Overall, I'm very happy, and it helps to fulfil the goal of having a tidy, uncluttered, easy to clean workstation - which is the main goal of all this.

I've also remade the auto start unit for my workstation. Version 1 used a small icecream container to house the Arduino and the servo frame, Version 2 shown in this video shows a custom designed and 3D printed frame that holds the Arduino, servo, everything, all together:
