Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Phaser

There's a new Trek Series called Strange New Worlds coming, and the design of the show is a retro 60s design that pays homage the original Trek. I fell in love with the design of the new phaser and decided to build my own.

I sincerely believe that is the best phaser design I've seen since the original series ended. I might just check into this Paramount Plus streaming nonsense so I can watch this series.

Trick was trying to sort out the size. I believe it is bigger than the TOS phaser, which is smaller that you think it should be. I might be a tad big, Not sure really. I went with what felt right in my hand.

Correct. Yes, I created the model from pictures of the Phaser that appeared at Star Trek: Mission Chicago.

How did you handle the numbers and Thumbwheel . Is the wheel functioning ?

Thumbwheel isn't functional. It's a piece that sits on top. The dial is a piece of clear acrylic that I shaped to fit. There's a printed number sticker that sits underneath. The curve of the acrylic makes it look more dimensional than it is.
