Hey guys, I've taken some footage of recent prop build commissions I've done. Its 4K resolution footage (which really just makes for good 1080 via youtube) shot with my A7s. So far on the playlist I've got 3 MK X hero tricorders, a hero dustbuster, boomerang and cobrahead phaser, as well as my hero alpha communicator build and a screenused boomerang phaser. Let me know what you guys think:

Cool stuff Alex. I don't have 4K capability yet, but they look great in 1080 :thumbsup

Not to take this off topic, a 16:9 video with 3840 x 2160 rez is not really "4K". True "4K" is 4096 x 2160. You would notice that YouTube lists it as 2160P. UHD covers pretty much all current 2160P as well as future formats.

    Nice props Tripper.

Hahah technically yes, but even YouTube calls UHD 3840x2160 4K because no one knows what UHD is. I called it 4K for the same marketing reasons. Star Trek Props in UHD just wouldn't have the same draw.

Maybe call it what it is - Ultra High Definition.
