Star Trek Shiny blankets

Does anyone know where I can find the fabrics used for Starfleet medical blankets, I thought about making some but I can't find anything other than plastic sheeting

The first TNG image looks to me like plain gold silk dupioni fabric; I'm not sure what the second one is called, but I've often seen something that looks very much like it at Jo-Ann Fabrics.

The next gen stuff definitely isn't dupioni. Looks like lame or some kind of sparkly spandex.

Yeah, right now i'm just trying to see what my options for making a star trek blanket are. All I can seem to find online are Star Trek "Themed" blankets

The next gen stuff definitely isn't dupioni. Looks like lame or some kind of sparkly spandex.

The first TNG pic doesn't look sparkly at all to me. And it does look like it has the random heavy transverse threads characteristic of dupioni.

But of course it's hard to tell for sure at such distance in an image upsampled from SD.
