Hey, thinking of getting a cheap TOS costume, does anybody have the TOS version of the rubies gold (command) uniform? how is it in terms of quality? Could you possibly post some pictures of it? I'm thinking about picking one up!

I would say don't bother. I've seen people that have bought these shirts and they hang on the body terriblely. Then there are those that get them to be very form fitting and they still look bad.

There's a few pictures on ebay right now. I can't post, as it's not allowed.

Pretty bad... polyester, screen printed shield, flat rank braids, a weird V neck... If you're looking to save money, you'd better off going with the cheap ones from Hong Kong. Still not great, but better than Rubies.

you could make one yourself with the proper pattern for probably less than 20 bucks. depending on which material you use.

sewing is really not difficult. if you can trace, you can sew.
