I'm working on a cosplay and I need help. The cosplay I am working on is the uniform shirt from the Star Trek episode "The Cage." I'm having trouble identifying the type of knit that forms the collar. I've asked a fabric store, but all they could tell me was that it was a "wide, ribbed knit." I have also checked with the 1701st, but even they don't know. I've uploaded some pics of the collar if it helps. I was hoping there were some knit or fabric experts here who could point in the right direction. Links are much appreciated.
