Star Trek Las Vegas

OK, who did the work on all those pieces that hang from the ceiling at the Star Trek Adventure in Vegas. Just got back, and I was blown away by the size of these models. Great stuff. I want a Klingon Bird Of Prey as big as the one that they have. Of course I would have no where to put it but I could worry about that after it arrives.

Landmark Entertainment did that part of the attraction..

Yeah, those gargantuan starships hanging from the ceiling are alright, but you gotta look down to see the really cool stuff :cool
I built many of the Trek and NASA models in the display cases along the walkway leading up into the attraction.

Just tooting my own horn :p

I have to admit that I enjoy that place. I feel like a kid in there! LOLOLOL

I think it was all pretty well done. The props and builds are VERY kewl indeed!

What do you suppose they are going to do with it all when they knock that place down to build a new one?

I have the presentation board with artist's renderings of "vehicle" used in the simulation experience. I bought them in one of the early memorabelia auctions many years ago.

Does anyone know anything about them? Like who designed/built the ride? I don't have any scans of them but will try to alleviate that problem over the weekend.

I don't know who Penwal is, but I was in the Landmark model shop once, while the TOS E was being built for ST:TE. I'm guessing there was more than one contractor.

Landmark also did the Transporter effect. There is some INSANE stuff going on to make that work!
