As is the case many times in life. Nothing is easy. The are three possible bottom connectors on these. Mine has a bayonet connector with a screw cap. I machined the knob so I could press fit the screw cap into it. So my knob connects to the mic by threading it on, very slick!


Here is a picture of my heart beat reader (White Sound Device) completed. BTW, this is the dumbest prop I have ever made! It's a GD microphone!! LOL.

It looks great!!! I bet it even works like the real thing, amplifying sound on the order of one to the tenth power!!!
