Hi guys,
this morning I finished a set of 4-star Admiral rank pips with magnetic attachment. The rare-earth magnets in the rank pip are holding 500g and in the counterpart 1kg. That should be strong enough. The basic material is black PVC hardfoam and the golden parts are 1mm sticky tape from 3M.
