Star Trek 1:10 Scale BORG ALOCOVE

Finally back on this project and making some long overdue progress! The whole front section is pretty much complete now except for the "crimped tubing" effect which I do in Milliput.

The disc section has been a bit of a challenge to say the least but I am happy to see it completed. Lots of detail to be taken care of.

The side panels will be equally detailed

Heres one for sizing with a figure.

I am really pleased with how this is coming together so far. More soon!

I think you are right brandomack. I do attribute that to the lack of a running TV series, the okayish JJ Abrams films and the upcoming Star Wars movie that is casting a gigantic shadow over everything at the moment.

Well there may be fewer Trek fans at the moment, but the ones that are around are TRUE BLUE fans, not the fly-by-night ones. We're a steadfast lot! (Quality over quantity)

Awesomeness! I've actually toyed around with the idea of making an Alcove for the Playmates action figures (I've got a Locutus, a couple of Borg Drones, the Queen and a Seven of Nine in-mid transition that sort of make me think about doing one for display purposes).
