Star Tours Maintanance Bay door model

I drew this up based on the recently released picture showing the Star Tours Maintanance Bay door model that was used for the filming sequence in the original ride. I drew this model up in the drawing program Inkscape and i threw together a very small scale model of the one im planning on building to figure out any problems with the pieces. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the kind words guys, I tried to make this as accurate as possible down to every single little panel line, dirt drips and paint chips. Im planning on making a studio scale model out of styrene sheet and tubing once I get all of the dimensions right. Heres the master graphic that I made to use as a paint reference, or maybe even just make a big paper model and skip the paint? definately the cheaper option but probly not up to RPF's high standards of course
