Star Lord's new scanner

Hi, Thanks for writing, it's been a while the video links got updated. Though when I type them in to an address line they work just fine. But not when I click on them. (go figure) I think the links were created BEFORE the https days.

Hi Kelvington. Late bloomer here. I just ordered my 2000 classic football and yet again the links seem broken. Is there by any chance a possibility you could fix this again? I understand it might seem repetitive for people coming here begging for this but it would be the biggest help to get my cosplay outfit ready for comic con here in Sweden.

Thanks for the great work!
Sincerely!

Hi!
No worries, this is what we are here for, to help each other out. I had my site hacked a while back and had to change providers, I forgot to move the GOTG stuff back up. It's there now and all the links work again.

Thanks for letting me know. Hope you enjoy your scanner!

Thank you! That's such a nice mindset.

In my desperate try for something remotely decent (if not getting an answer due to 3 years of silence here) I turned to using your still image that was available. Then I found a stabilized gif from the actual movie scene and I deskewed and rotated the animation so it laid flat and square. Then I screen recorded it so I could work with it in vivacut to lay it on top of your image so it lined up in the right spot for the Mattel screen window. It's blurry but it is the actual footage(though looped and reversed half way through to create a not so glitchy outcome). I also isolated the beep sound by filtering out music and voices etc.

It's a bit crude but for anyone who wants it, here it is.

Thanks! I ditched the screen grabbed version and took to html coding an animation instead. Took many hours but it's getting there. Also ripped and filtered out the sound from the movie. Almost no sound in the clip though since it's in the middle of the night here.

Nicely done! looks better than the original.

Thanks! With 232 lines of code just for the sonar ping animation I hope it'll be enough for a cosplay prop.
I updated the video clip in my previous post, so now you can also hear the sound effect. I put the videos after each other instead to not have the sounds play simultaneously.

Very cool! It's funny some props really stand the test of time. It's both a nostalgia hit and fun at the same time. Excellent work.
