I am not in a huge rush for mine, so I don't mind letting some of the Halloween people go before me. I think my next con I might wear this at isn't until May, so I have some time! (Though there's a possibility I might wear it in November, if I can fix up the problems with my helmet (or remake it!) by then, so I don't want to wait too long!)

I'm up there too, and would prefer the patch and jet controls are ready for Halloween, but I'm understanding if they aren't. The blaster was worth waiting for, so I'm certain these parts will be too.

If you were, in earnest, trying to help. You could have just pointed us to the post with the pertinent info in plain language rather than wording it like you were trying to be smart. There are a lot of posts to sift through to get through this thread and most of them say the same thing. Expression of interest. This is why you usually update the first post with all the pertinent details. Simply updating with a post tends to get lost.

I would like to counterpoint this by seriously thanking Kevin and The Rocketeer for all the work you put into this community. Some people dont seem to get that therpf is not a Walmart. Some effort to figure stuff out and figure out a thread may be required. Crap happens - acting Iike an ass when things aren't to your liking isn't going to get you anywhere. The Rocketeer and Kevin put an amazing amount of effort into helping this community with their time and craftsmanship. I don't think that a little respect and understanding is asking much. **** happens. If you can't handle that, this is not the place for you.

I have turned down more than a dozen commissions this week. I understand more than most that there is a limit to what one person can do. I did not take issue with not having much of a chance to get on this list. I merely took issue with the condescending response to a simple request to be added to the list if it was possible. But if your reading comprehension skills were above a third grade level, you could have gathered that from the posts you felt so entitled to comment on.
I accept the fact that perhaps Rocketeer's initial response wasn't intended to come across as glib as it did. And perhaps I may have overreacted. I don't have any hard feelings and still maintain a healthy interest in their work. But that isnt the point. The point is: guess whose business it isn't? Yours! Did you really feel this needed your input? Seriously?

I'm guessing that you're new then to the whole 'posting in a public forum' concept, based on your complete lack of basic manners, but maybe you'll get there.This is a public forum, and one that I happen to have an interest in. Your whining post is one of the ones I read through that you were complaining about flooding the thread. Regardless of your poorly conceived and childishly executed attempt to mock me (I think you could learn a lesson in 'burns' from those third graders you are intimately familiar with) , attempting to pick on me is futile, if rather humorous.
