Yes please! :thumbsup I have already sent funds for a fabric kit... could you send me a total to include this MDR-5A kit and a v2 infinity stone?

Thank goodness I don't need to buy a real Sony MDR-5A! I would have needed to take out a second mortgage on the house to afford an original.

Here are a few more in-depth pics:

I didn't use the 3D printed speaker covers. I just retrofitted it with some drivers that already had a metal grille. The larger steel screens in my kit fit perfectly in the recessed area of the speaker housing. They will come silver, but if you want these black to match the real deal I've found that a sharpie does the trick!

The screens for the outside of the speaker housing have a slightly curled edge. You might need to shape these a little more by hand, but they should fit perfectly in the channel.

As for the decals, You'll definitely want to sand down any existing details and paint the parts with a semi-gloss/gloss paint for ideal adhesion.

I didn't spend as much time as I should have on this step, so a little texture still remains.

After applying the decals and letting them dry you'll want to hit it with a sealer. I used folk-art matte finish acrylic sealer:
