Hi Everyone.
A good friend and myself have completely re-done this '89 Studio Scale Batmobile. Believe me, if you saw it before and what we've done to it you'd be blown away. The original prior to cleaning was so bad I almost just sold it, but I have some amazing modeling friends and one was up for the challenge of cleaning this one up. The body was so lumpy and for example, the hood vents were all but non existent, once he finished repairing this (took 6 months total) it's amazing how every little vent is there as if it was never fixed. I really don't know how you model guys do it The fins were absolute junk, so they have been practically re-done completely. The canopy is a whole other story.... that was horrible and we actually cut out the filled in area where the windshield would be and actually added a new clean windshield with a piece of styrene and re-did the whole thing. Needless to say, there has been a ton of work to make this possible. (The only things we did not touch was the undercarriage and the wheels, they weren't as bad as the body was).
