spring for sterling blaster...

Hello all
I would like to know if anyone knows where I could get a spring for my e-11 blaster replica. I used a spring from a nerf gun and I really had to bend it up to get it to fit in my blaster. Id like something with a little more compression. I found a gun site where I can get an original spring for a sterling but didnt want to part with the 20 dollars. Anyone know a cheap source for us scratchbuilders? thanks

ApexGunParts.com sells real Sterling springs. I might have an extra one though too.

Just look for cut to length style compression springs at your local Tractor Supply, Fastenal, or specialty hardware store. You'll pay more in shipping than for the spring if you order it online from Fastenal, McMaster-Carr. etc. (It's like $5 n change for a 36 inch length compression spring from McMaster)
