SPOILER superior spider-man #1 ending

that was so obvious to me when they killed him, that it doesnt surprise me at all. thats exactly what i saw coming. theres just no way they could kill peter parker for good.

I'm shocked, comics are well known for their realism and their story telling integrity. :eek

Well him as a ghost is slightly more interesting than a lot of the other resurrection stories that have been around. Now he'll be able to off and fight with Dr Strange and all the weird spirit characters. I have to say the art's not that bad. I stopped myself from getting back into new comics as the art is always so bad looking.

I'm still uneasy about this but I'll have to see where it goes before I make up my mind

He'll go to all the characters who couldn't fix Aunt May's bullet wound in One More Day to resurrect him? Sure, that'll work ;) Then again they don't have to facilitate character assassination so should be no problem.

Interesting though, I would have assumed that over time Peter's memories would simply reassert his personality and overwrite Ock's and he'd just be Peter properly again. It'll still all be back to normal by the time ASM 2 is out in theaters. They had to get rid of the white Nick Fury just so new comic readers wouldn't be confused, no way they'd expect the new readers that ASM 2 brings in to be able to grasp Peter not being Peter.

They're all still trying to capture the fever that the Death of Superman & Reign of the Supermen caused - and they never match up.

Well. That didn't take long.

This is also precisely why I really can't bring myself to give a damn about these kinds of titles. It also is why the term "comic book death" exists.

Has anyone been looking at these? And I say looking because the art is fantastic. The storyline is usually secondary to the art for me.

I've been admiring the new tech Superior Spidey's been coming up with and his apparent ability to do what he wants even with Ghost Spidey nagging us.

Avenging Spider-man also keeps some interesting one shot storylines.

I was so happy when I saw that.

**SPOILER FOR ISSUE 3 OR 4**
In a later issue Peter mentions that once he gets his body back, he'll have a ruined reputation. That made me so excited for what's to come.

I'm obviously not happy with my favourite superhero ever kicking the bucket, but I'm interested in what they do with it now.
