Spidey pattern scaling question

For the Spidey pattern I heard the 2 points of refference to scale down or up is from center of mask down to the point of belt, lets say you scale it down by 3cm will this scale down all the original pattern measurments by 3 cm or not necessarily? example if the the legs on the original pattern is 23cm will this bring it down to 20cm or is it more of a total pourcentage?

Thanks!

Hey Gino,

I would presume that it would be a percentage you would need to reduce it by.

Im almost at the stage to get some prints made and I was going to get a small plain muscle suit made to see how the scaling works.

When I get the results, I'll keep you in the loop.

The original tip (which I actually rereferenced yesterday) was from Alfred and is on the tutorial from nik.

Are you getting a suit printed ?
