Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project.

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

Anybody get some watch gears on the shooters yet? Interested in seeing how they turn out :)

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

I'm just waiting on finalizing my electronics before I finally commit to gluing in the gears. It is tempting though to want to slap em on there.

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

I see the gears as the topping on a cake :).

Sure a shooter that's painted looks great, and one that lights up may make you drool, but the gears are a final touch saved for the very end to really make it delicious. :p

]for those of you who are doing stunt shooters or want a non working Fpc, i made this image of the FPC's these could be printed out on card stock or some other material and laminated, just putting these out here, pRoJectEarth7 inspired me to do these :) so here these are if anyone wants them, they are a PNG file with an alpha background meaning the background behind the fpc's is completely transparent to save in when printing ;) enjoy

Anyone have measurements for the strap? What is the width of the gap on the bezel? How do you see the strap attaching? Is there a pin? Is the shooter strap attached to the wider one underneath it? I know a lot of questions, but I figured, someone, other than me has thought about it.

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

Does anyone have any updates on their lighting?

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

Nothing further with my build, but I hope to see what others come up with as they start getting their prints.

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

Guys, how long did the shooters take for you to arrive?

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

It depends on two things...

Your choice of material:
Shapeways | Material Portfolio

and the status of that said material:
Shapeways | Marerial Status

So lets say you chose the basic WSF (white strong and flexible). Normally it should ship within 8 business days, but since there is a delay in that material, its more like 11-12 days.

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

I see, because my estimated shipping was first 10th of september and now it says 11th, so I was wondering if you guys also needed to wait that long, but I see that it looks like the case :lol thanks for the info :thumbsup

yea i know how you feel, my parts are just now shipping tomorrow, it has been like 2 full weeks, just don't get your hopes to high that it will come before the estimated date :) lol that was my problem (but thats mostly because i am impatient ;) but shapeways keeps very good communication about it, so no worries bro

We're really sorry to let you know that there was a problem with your recent order. These design(s) could not be 3D printed in the material selected:

Shooter Face - Right in White Strong & Flexible Polished

Epilepticsquirel any idea on what's going on my man ?

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

Hi guys, just like honnziva i've placed an order for the print job (20 bucks shipping because I live in Australia) and it says the shooter face is too fragile.
Here it is:
Hi ,

We're really sorry to let you know that there was a problem with your recent order. These design(s) could not be 3D printed in the material selected:

Face in White Strong & Flexible Polished
Given the nature of 3D printing (converting digital files into physical products), every now and then we catch designs that will be too fragile to create in certain materials. Though we do our best to defy the laws of physics and try to find these issues as early as possible, some are only found during the manufacturing process.

You can reach out to the designer who created the model by clicking on the model name above to expedite the process. On the top right corner of the page linked above, you can click the "Contact Designer" button to start a conversation.

We have credited your account, which you can use to purchase anything on Shapeways. If you do not wish to order anything else at this time, please let us know and we will arrange a refund.

Amount Credited: $2.81

Any ideas on what to do, I am only ordering one web shooter.
