Spiderman suit/mask question

Recently I bought a full body spiderman suit which means the mask is attached to the suit.
My question is, has anybody before tried cutting the mask?If yes, how did you do it?

Pretty sure its on there for good...unless you buy a separate mask from that one...cut the neck and have them overlap you cant do that with what you have though....
