Spider-Man soles

I need help making soles for my upcoming costume, like how do you people make the red colored soles, and how do I even make them without being floppy

Hi KaewanG,

Some use watershoes of which they use just the bottom part after cutting them open,some use in- and outsoles to sandwich the costume feet between and wear kung fu slippers inside the costume.
Other than that I wouldn't know.I wish you good luck with your costume

So basically glue watershoes to the bottom and wear kungfu shoes inside

No,they're two separate methods.This is what I've learned from reading several threads:

The watershoes are glued to the bottom of the suit,but for the specifics you'd have to ask someone else who's more familiar with it.

The separate in- and outsoles should be able to be purchased at a local shoemaker with the appropriate glue.You insert the insole into the feet of the costume.You then apply the glue to the outsoles and allign the outsoles with the feet (have someone help you with this).Apply pressure as long as needed for the glue to cure by stepping into the suit with kung fu slippers/shoes of your choice.You will need them anyway to hide the contours of your toes when wearing the costume.

You take the sole off of the water shoe or the kung fu shoe, then you put the inside the costume and glue the sole on the bottom of the costume. shoe glue or e6000 works well for this. I go into it a little bit on my superman build and if you look up Lunamens spidey build he goes into more detail.
