Practice, practice, and even more practive will have to be done with the cloacking I saw the test they did for the P1 movie and they had to go through it many many times before they got it right. You will get there no worries.

Well the basis is already done, it's just a matter of tweaking the techniques to get a more constant look frame-by-frame.

My goal is to offer this service to fanfilm makers... As I love doing this stuff but don't have the time to make my own film.

I hear you I have an idea for a really cool Predator film that is more along the lines of the AVP comics because that is the best resource material then enything else.

Newest Cloak/Decloak test

I recreated the scene where Dillon first sees the Predator. After the trap and it hangs in the tree.... I think I have the effect pretty close. What do you think?

I think the closest I have seen them done in a game was Predator:Concrete Jungle.

Great job Colin! I wouldn't know how to begin doing that! That said I agree with Lee I think you have the cloaking decloaking down pat but it happens a little to quickly to get the complete effect.

Haha, that's funny. It's the same length as the 'real deal' movie one. I counted the frames.
