spear help

im thinken about making a working spear for my AVP suit (not complete yet) but i have no idea how to build it, ive tried the search engine and nothen, can some 1 plz help me?

keefer once made a tutorial on that
an easy way is to take a pvc pipe and add a tripod leg on each end
or take two umbrellas and remove the top and then make the spear details around it

that spear is very heavy and only one end works, plus it is somewhat wobbly

i made this a while ago...
i used 2 cheap umbrellas , cut off the hooks on the handles, heated them up and mashed them together to make it one piece.

cut off two legs from a camera tripod duct tape them together, put pvc over the center of the "spear" detail it with a dremel and you got a spear that costs like 30-50 usd

Awww gotcha... I've never seen one. I just figured for $38 what do you have to lose... Maybe buy 2 of them and fab the 2 working ends into one spear!

I have the spear from the ebay link above and i must say its worth the money. Total steel and very good to handle. And i think it isn't a problem that only one end works.
