Welcome to the
SPACE COMMAND SPACESUIT CONTEST! There’s never been anything like it in the history of contests!
First off, this is NOT a contest to design Spacesuits on paper. No,
you actually BUILD A SPACESUIT!
A Contest for Makers!
EVERYONE WHO ENTERS gets their name listed in the Space Command credits as a Spacesuit Builder!
You also get a
cool digital Space Command Spacesuit Builder Certificate suitable for framing!
But wait, there’s more!
Every Spacesuit entered in the contest will be posted on the Space Command website and on Facebook, Twitter and the Mr. Sci-Fi Channel and can be voted on by the public for the Space Command Spacesuit Contest Audience Award, which will have simply Amazing Prizes!
You can even send us videos modeling your Spacesuit and showing us how you made it, which we’ll post on our social media!
EVERYONE IN THE WORLD will be able to admire your handiwork!
More than that,
a select number of the Spacesuits will be on exhibit at the 2019 Space Command Convention in Los Angeles, where the Makers can be on a panel to discuss how they were designed and built — after which the Spacesuits will be part of a Space Command Spacesuit traveling exhibit and fashion show at science fiction conventions across the country and around the world!
AND a wide selection of
the Spacesuits will actually be used in episodes that we’ll be shooting in the coming year, including The Great Solar War, Empire and Harvester, so
the winners will be able to come on set to watch THEIR Spacesuit being filmed!
In some cases,
you’ll even get to wear YOUR Spacesuit in the episode! Beyond that, you’ll get to meet and hang out with our Space Command stars!
And best of all, you get to be part of
Space Command, a show that exists thanks to the fans!
