I'm looking for one of these and Federation Models no longer carries it

I'm also interested in any opinions of the Starship Modelers Hammerhead Fighter.

Can't say for certain about where to
get a Chiggy off hand. But stay AWAY from
the Hammerhead over there .

Unless you LIKE correcting a screwed up
fuselage with too thick wings and royalled
messed up mis-shaped intakes..

UK for Space stuff ? I know Tony did carry
them, not sure if he does anymore ?

some years back....

Actually I've been " toying " with the notion of
a Chig Fighter that's ACCURATE to the show..

I know TWO that were produced over the years
and sadly BOTH had allot wrong with them... :cry

Of course, NOW that the DVD's are out you can get
some nice SOLID detail shot's .

I know Tracy { owns Federation Models } has been
pestering me for over a year to bring BACK my
Chiggy Von Richtoven kit and make Chig Fighters to
scale with it....

I have been thinking about it,ALLOT since I got
the SAAB dvd's last month... :angel

I don't know anything about the quality or owners, but they have been helpful in e-mail so far, and in this day and age I am just happy they bothered to reply (customer service online is sometime a bit frustrating.) :eek

I just checked out the Acme site and their SA-43 looks like it's missing some details and what's up with the Exo-Jet???

The Chig Fighter looks ok I guess,


I checked out the Starship Modeler site again and I can't see what's so bad about their SA-43 Kit

The Hammerhead offered seems always to be 1/48 other than that stated Exo Jet that isn't offered.

Yup.. 1/24 will make the list...lol.

The SM offering (1/48) is the old SMT/AlfredWong kit. I have one in the pile, it's ok for details considering they worked from videotape screencaps.

Should I wait?

I contatced Alfred Wong and he charges $350 to do the build up, is that too much or a fair price?

I might be interested in the Chig Fighter that ACME 360 Models sells. Here is the url: http://www.acme360models.com/mycustompage0003.htm

But I want to make sure it's a decent representation of the fighter.

I'm not supper picky about it being exactly accurate, I just want it to be easily recognizable to the shows fighter and close in scale to the Starship Modeler Hammer Head Kit since I plan to get that kit too.

Does anyone know if this is a decent kit?
