Space:aab Helmet cam Tutorial

First off you will need the following:

1 Resin helmet cam.
1 Monocular. (look on ebay)
2 Screws to hold everything together.
5 Nuts and bolts to attach cam to your helmet.

So to start off with you will need to cut the front of of your replica helmet cam.
Cut off above the red line.

Your cam should look like this once your have removed the front section.

You will need to fill and sand any marks caused during the cutting.

Now you need to unscrew (by hand) the viewpiece and the lens housing, then unscrew
the 4 small screws holding on the 2 silver triangle pieces.

You will need to keep the black middle section, 1 of the silver triangle pieces
(with the 2 small screws) and the lens housing.

Monocular Parts:

You will need to sand down the thread that the viewer screwed into to get the centre
section to sit flat against your cam.

Now you need to prime the cam, centre section and silver triangle.

Then paint the centre section black and the cam and the silver triangle olive drab.

Position the center section against the cam so you know where to drill your holes to
hold the centre section in place.

Use 2 screws to hold the centre section in place.

Put the now olive drab triangle back in place and screw down.

Then screw your lens housing in too.
