Finally finished my acurate Studio Scale 1/24th Pilot ship.
From the Space 1999 second season 2-parter "Bringers of Wonder". A quirky little thing that really doesn't make any sense (in the episode)

:-D

Very easy build and a fairly straight forward paint job. A few bumps along the way, but happy to have a 'quick kit build' for once!

Original built by Martin Bower, kit pattern by Jim Small, Engines from Mike Reader, kit resurrected by Richard Lamer, very clean, and hollow, castings by George Takacs (Timeslip), decals (and now full kits) from Alex Jackson (Century Castings).

Recently watched this episode- it is a rather quirky ship. I love your build up of this subject- looks just like the studio prop IMO...

Very nice work! Now I know where the Oblivion Bubble ship designers got their inspiration. Ive never seen this ship before. Thanks for bringing it back!

Like Lee said a nice and simple and excellent kit. This is mine I built a few years ago, it's the original Jim Small issue.
